We are looking for a candidate to fill the position of Global Marketing Coordinator.

We are looking for a marketing specialist for the Foundry business unit in Elkem Silicon Products (ESP) division. You will be the main person to drive marketing in our organization on a global level. Focus shall be Europe, but you will have a close cooperation with marketing resources in other regions. You will develop and implement a global marketing strategy for the Foundry business unit in close cooperation with the regional sales manager Europe and FOU global business director.


Most important areas of responsibility:

  • Coordination and execution of global marketing strategy, but with main focus for Europe.
  • Coordination of marketing activities with ESP marketing to ensure alignment with divisional branding and commercial strategy.
  • Manage and execute business analysis of global market data, to ensure foundations are in place for a global marketing strategy.
  • Ensure that the (digital) marketing needs of the different regions are covered.
  • Support markets with conferences and exhibitions.

 

Qualifications required for the position:

  • Five years' experience in Marketing for B2B, preferable with experience in the Foundry industry or similar metallurgical industries.
  • Bachelor's degree (international) marketing, communication, sales and/or business development.
  • Good understanding of B2B demands and being able to transfer market needs into a marketing strategy.
  • Fluent in English. Both verbal and in writing.

We are looking for a person with excellent communication skills. To succeed in the position, you must be a good team player, but at the same time able to work independently. You are able to identify business opportunities and convert this into a marketing strategy for our foundry business to optimize our sales.

Position reports to the regional sales manager Europe.

Location: Rotterdam is preferred. Other locations in Europe can be discussed.
